White jeans and sandals are a NO NO!

Don’t get me wrong, I love the look but its just not possible to wear white jeans with sandals. First the bottom of your pants gets really dirty. Imagine wearing this on a rainy day, you’ll end up looking like a mop.

I love these jeans because they are loose and its low rise but I just cant wear them with sandals.
I don’t like washing my jeans so many time but with these white True Religions, I might have to drop it off at the cleaner every time I wear it.

Go Green for Saint Patrick day!!

Go Green for Saint Patrick day!

For my Saint Patrick’s Day cocktail party I bought the green Ralph Lauren Chino Sports Coat and luckily it got here on time. I was going to wear my cashmere v-neck sweater that I wear every Saint Patrick’s day but fell in love with the new polo logo and couldn’t refuse. It actually looks good with the collar up with the matching blue tie but in going to wear a v-neck shirt inside with the collar down. Love these versatile sports coat, I could wear it with my collar popped, I could wear it with shorts and I could even wear it with jeans.

Cashmere sweater are for every season

Oh, how I love wearing cashmere. Cashmere sweaters are so very special in that you can wear it in every season. I wear my white v-neck cashmere sweater during the winter inside my jacket and I wore it to a picnic last Saturday.
Personal Tips:

1. Don’t wear cashmere with sandals or any open toe shoes. I love wearing sandals with a pair of vintage jeans but it almost impossible to pull off a cashmere sweater with your toes showing. I sometimes ever wear dress shirts un-tucked with a pair of skinny vintage jeans and sandals but I’m really against cashmere and sandals.
2. Don’t wear a hat with a cashmere sweater. I have a hat fetish and I probably own more hats that shirts but hats don’t really go with cashmere sweater. I’ve tired every different kinds and saw many of the celebrities trying to pull it off but Justin Timberlake came closest to pulling it off but still couldn’t. But if anyone disagrees with this statement you have to actually take a picture and prove it to me b/c I just cant see it happening.

Just bought some Gilded Age cashmere striped crew neck from RevolveClothing and man they fit and look just perfect.

Oh, How I HATE impersonal mass text messages!

Oh, How I HATE impersonal mass text messages!

We live in this culture where everything that we do is so impersonal. I remember back in the days when I used to receive written Valentines Day cards from my girls in my middle school. You either had to be popular or special to receive a written personal Valentines day card from your class mate girls but now its just a button away from mass text messages and emails to all the people you know and don’t know on your phone or your emailing list.

I hate that! I received a text message today from a girl that I went to college with and it said “Happy Valentines Day!!” I mean, is this supposed to make me feel special? We haven’t even talked for about 2 years and because I somehow still had the same phone number I was the lucky 1 out of 300 people that received this Valentines Day text message.

I get grossed out when people send me a Christmas card by email saying “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!” just to see that this same card went out to other 145 people on their emailing list. What happened to hand written cards? I mean hand written cards that have meaning in it, personal meaning. I know real estate agents are taught this from their first real estate class that personal cards by mail are important to maintain a relationship with the future home buyers. But to receive a card that doesn’t say anything but their sloppy signature that they got sick of mass singing just makes me want to puke. I mean why don’t they just get a stamp of their name and make their secretary stamp the damm thing like the president does when he gives out letters to elementary students that received straight A’s throughout their entire elementary years. I only remember that because yes, I had gotten straight A’s throughout elementary and also because I felt special receiving a personal letter from the president with a photo copied photo his face inside the letter. After braggin to my older sister she burst my bubble by telling me that the signature wasn’t his signature but just a stamp a secretary stamped on my letter.

So please, please give personal hand written cards and letters on your next day of celebration. Or at least give the person a phone call to make them feel special. And next time you decide to mass email or mass text, just don’t do it at all. I personally rather not receive one than to receive a mass impersonal message.

Happy Valentines Day my lovely fiancé Kiely!!

Do's & Don'ts on Sunglasses

Do’s:
1. Wear the sunglasses that fits your head and nose shape. Don’t ask which brand you should buy but which style fits me well. You could end up looking like terminator or even Waldo if you wear the shades that don’t fit you well.
2. Wear them outside, wear them when you drive.
3. Wear then on your nose not on your cheeks. I see people wearing their sunglasses on you’re their cheek instead of on their nose. If your nose is too flat then you can always take then inside the store that you purchased them and ask then to adjust it so that it stays on your nose. And you look ridiculous when you take off your sunglasses and have a big half a circle arc on your cheeks; it makes you look cat like.

Don’ts:

1. Don’t wear sunglasses indoor especially in dark places. It only makes you look like a fasionless fool. (Unless you’re a celebrity and you don’t want people to notice you while your shopping for food or if you lack a confident poker face and need to hide under your dark sunglasses on the felt)
2. Sunglasses are made for your eyes to be protected form the blazing sun during the summer. So where does it belong? Yes on your eyes. So please don’t wear them on top of your head as a hair band, don’t wear it backwards on your head and don’t make it hang on your shirt, making your round neck look like a v-neck. Unless you’re a cute girl that wants to show off some more of your cleavage, please don’t wear it hanging in the middle of your shirt.
3. Don’t buy $5 sunglasses at a gift shop. 1st, they don’t look good. 2nd your never going to wear them ever again and 3rd its horrible for your eyes.
4. Don’t wear bright reflecting sunglasses. They are long out of style after Ultimate Warrior left WWF and poker player like Greg Raymer tried to bring his lizard style back but never worked. So don’t buy them and especially don’t wear them.

Tips on Sunglasses

I’ve received this email an email from Jesse last week asking me which sunglass brand he should buy.

“ Hey Bobby, I want to buy some new shades but I’m not sure which brand I should buy. I am willing to spend $100 to max $150 but I don’t know where to start searching. Could you give me some feed back? “

When picking out a sunglass you shouldn’t ask what brand you should buy but what style fits you well. It all depends on how your face is structured and the height of your nose and your facial physiques.

I looked you up on myspace and found your picture. Because you have long but small head shape with a long nose you should go with a bigger lens sunglass. If you want to buy something less pricey I would recommend the brown on brown DKNY for only $60 or if you want to spend some more money I would invest in some shiny gunmetal/ grey Prada which is $285. Because both of these sunglasses is not narrow in the middle of the glasses it will make you nose look shorter and you’re face looking narrower. I think they will both look really good on your face shape. I hope this helped.

Raniny day Sweater

www.topman.com has so many casual comfortable jackets and sweaters. And this one is my favorite, as you probably know how much I LOVE reversible jackets. It’s charcoal gray on one side and printed red design on the flip side. I am wearing this exact sweater as I type right now and its really warm and comfy. I put some Diesel faded jeans on with my black vans and I look and feel very stylish. It’s very fitting for today’s rainy day.
I was in the kitchen micro waving my jap chae and rice for lunch and our secretary came in and said “ that sweater looks really good on you Matthew!” She’s a hotty~

I’ve told myself to stay away from online poker but played a long $25/$50 NL headup session on Full Tilt and my brain is fried. I should be up 12K but ended up only winning 3K because of this horrible bad beat. I didn’t actually loose the pot but I ended up splitting it when I was about 20/1 when the $ went in.

He raise me preflop $225 and I reraise him w/ KK. Flop comes A clubs K clubs J clubs.
I bet out pot and he pushed rasied me and we managed to go all in on the flop for 28K pot. Turn comes 10 diamond river Q heart. After that hand he just took off with his chips, probably feeling like he won a damm jackpot.
